We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the upstream, midstream, plant, or refinery oil and gas industries.  B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.  PE License is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium or multiple small client projects
• Integral team member on larger multi-discipline project teams including civil, structural, mechanical, E&I, process and design
• Evaluating technical requirements on project
• Develop conceptual and detailed engineering design packages
• Develop electrical one lines, motor control center layouts, and motor control schematics
• Experience developing power distribution schematics, control schematics and coordinating schemes
• Review and approve technical content of junior staff members on project team
• Write electrical portion of project scoping documents including design basis and deliverable registry
• Prepare internal engineering cost and AFE estimates for client
• Prepare and evaluate technical content of RFQ packages
• Mentor junior engineers within discipline
• Work with Design personnel to create drawing deliverable packages
• Experience with any of the following a plus:
• MMS, DOT and USCG regulations
• API 14F, 14FZ, 500, 505, NEC, NESC
• DC (12v, 24v, 48v), AC (120, 208, 480, 2400, 4160 and 13.8 kv)
• DC and pneumatic panel and system design
• Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• PLC equipment specification, layout and wiring
